Adjust sprinklers to avoid watering sidewalks or driveways

Put your water to work! Check your irrigation system to make sure sprinkler nozzles direct water toward grass and plants, not sidewalks or driveways. Sprinklers that spray on hard surfaces cause runoff to gutters and other areas where water is not needed. This can waste 220 gallons of water during each irrigation cycle!
